What next for Real Madrid (Signings, options and all…)

What next for Real Madrid (Signings, options and all…)

Another club at chaos, the difference is, they have won three champions league in a row, four in the last five years. We are talking about the best club in the world, Real Madrid. We will try to figure out what the world is trying to figure out right now. Which are the options they have, should they play their players or new galacticos are required. Lopetgui, Solari, and now, in the end, even Zidane has failed to store the balance.

Let us begin with goalkeepers as always :

Courtois is playing like he can not make decent saves at all. First, he wanted that desperate move to Madrid, didn’t manage to have a single man of the match performance this season. what next for real Madrid.

Navas on the other hand had always saved Madrid a number of times. There is nothing known as a perfect goalkeeper. Even Casillas had bad days. It is so difficult to act against quality football.

De Gea has been highly linked over a few years. But, rather than wasting money over a goalkeeper, there are other areas to be improved. De Gea is also not in a spectacular form either.

Our solution – Go with navas, sell courtois. No need for De Gea.

Defense:

Sergio Ramos is the best center back in the world. If he always has to go up, because we lack things in attack, there will be problems at defense. His performance is not at the top level. But, it will come back with things balanced in the attack. The same might be said for Varane and Nacho. Vallejo is young, the future is bright. No need to go for Koulibaly or anyone else.

Our center backs next season – no changes.

Marcelo is still wonderful and if you have regullion as a backup plan. It’s not so bad. We lost because we had nothing in attack and Ramos can cover that Left space left at the back if things go as planned. You can even play Marcelo as an LM in 4-4-2 or can try him sometimes as a Left Winger. Carvajal is a decent full back. Odriozola is to back him up. What else do you need?

Our solution for full backs – no changes.

Midfield :

Just before this season, Kroos and Modric, who in fact has won the ballon d’Or recently were declared as the best midfield duos in the world. Yeah, any team will miss a player like Ronaldo. Just imagine Barcelona without Messi. Neymar, Mbappe doesn’t want to come. Casemiro is still good at his job. Isco can provide many solutions in midfield. James is returning as well. But, most likely will go on loan or will be sold.

Zidane doesn’t want him. Llorente could stay to back Casemiro. Ceballos could do the same job. But, Zidane doesn’t want him either. Eriksen would definitely be a good signing. But, will spurs leave him, considering they just went to UCL finals, what of pochhetino will be finally given money to sign new players. Pogba still is a good choice. Will Man Utd leave him considering they have not a single big player like him except de Gea?

Our solution to midfield – sign either pogba or Eriksen if possible. Otherwise, it is all good, if new signings will be in the attacking department.

Attack

Benzema should not be a targeted striker. Of course, even if you sign hazard, he won’t make runs from the wing inside the box as Ronaldo used to do. He does not have that Ronaldo hunger. We are missing Ronaldo’s involvement in attacks and goals as well. Vinicius still has to learn a lot. Jovic has to be signed or someone like Icardi will do. See, if Mbappe or Neymar will come. Zidane will likely sell Bale.

Our solution – Sign either Jovic or Icardi. Hazard must be signed. Benzema should only play as a second striker. Otherwise, he should be on the bench.

So, this is our solution to restore the balance. We wish Zidane and the fans all the best. Hopefully, things will go as planned next season. Don’t forget to comment on your reactions!
